Widgets are handy tools built into the new versions. Although they ease of use cannot be denied, they take up a huge amount of memory. Delete the ones you do not need and the change will increase speed.

Be sure to empty your trash. This may sound obvious, but if you do not, the trash files will linger in different locations and you shall save a large amount of space by doing this.

Organization is a big part of system satisfaction. It likes to know where things are. Pay special attention to your desktop and put all files you have there into your documents. When you load, all those images and icons have to be processed, and this takes time.

Invest in a hard drive. Putting your music, movies and information you have in this place will free up the processor to perform its job undisturbed.

These steps are easy to do and have very little risk, computer repair really is that easy. We constantly rely on our computers to communicate and work and they deserve our care and support.
